JOIN NVAC
Newtown Ambulance is recruiting members who are certified or willing to become certified as Emergency Medical Technicians. We offer EMT certification classes to the public on an annual basis.
In addition to our regular members, NVAC supports a Junior EMT Corps for those who are between 16 and 18 years of age and have successfully completed the requirements of an EMT-Basic.
NVAC meets on the second Wednesday of each month for a mandatory training session. In addition, a member must maintain a minimum of staffing hours to remain active with the Corps
As our town continues to expand, the demands on the Ambulance Corps is ever increasing. We need dedicated, professional members to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
